Ex-Emmerdale star Jenna-Louise Coleman, best known as the Dale's Jasmine Thomas, has landed a role in a new ITV drama marking the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the HMS Titanic.
It has not been announced what Jenna-Louise's role is yet but she will be working alongside actors Linus Roache and Geraldine Somerville as well as BAFTA winning producer Nigel Stafford Clark (Bleak House, Warriors, The Way We Live Now).
Titanic, an epic 4 x 1 hour mini series is written by Julian Fellowes, the Oscar winning screenwriter of ITV1's hit costume drama Downton Abbey as well as Gosford Park and The Young Victoria. Titanic is the extraordinary re-telling of that doomed voyage, cleverly weaving action, mystery and romantic plots featuring fictional and historical characters, before coming together in an explosive and unforgettable finale.
